Wheel Selection
Most wheel discussions begin with specifications. Depth, weight, stiffness and aerodynamics are useful reference points, but they rarely explain why one wheel system feels completely right on a bicycle and another strangely out of place.
This session starts somewhere else: not with the wheel itself, but with the system it is expected to support. A wheelset exists in relation to a frame, a position, a tyre, a rider and an intended use. Change one of these variables and the character of the bicycle changes with it.
Together, we define what the wheel needs to do, compare the relevant options and narrow the field to the systems that make sense for you and the bicycle in front of us. The objective is not to identify the fastest wheelset available, but to understand which wheel system makes the most sense - and why.

Wheel Testing
Not every decision can be made through conversation. Some wheel systems simply need to be ridden.
Following a Wheel Selection, we compare two or three wheelsets back-to-back on the same bicycle, over the same roads and under the same conditions. We look at how each wheel accelerates, carries speed, responds under load and behaves across different surfaces, but also at the things that are harder to quantify: confidence, rhythm and how naturally the wheel fits the bicycle.
The objective is not to find the fastest wheelset, but the one that belongs to the system.

Group Testing
Some differences become clearer when there is more than one reference point.
In a small group, we compare three or four wheel systems back-to-back over the same route and under the same conditions. Riders rotate between wheelsets, compare impressions and experience how different systems change the character of the bicycle.
The session is not about declaring a winner. It is about developing a clearer understanding of depth, stiffness, momentum, comfort and confidence — and learning which characteristics matter most to you.
