The observer

Jan studied sociology and is now studying architecture. He's always been curious about how things are made, how they work and what happens when you start changing them. Bicycles have become another part of that curiosity.

He spends quite a bit of time testing components, comparing setups and rebuilding things. There's usually something he wants to try. His titanium bike has been through a few different versions already, and it probably won't be the last.

He also likes getting away. Long rides, overnighters, sometimes just heading out of Berlin without much of a plan. The kind of riding where you have enough time to notice things along the way.

Titanium seems like a good fit for him. It's a material that can stay with you for a long time, even as everything around it changes. And knowing Jan, he'll probably keep changing things.
