System Review

Most riders know when something feels wrong. Very few know why.

Over time, every bicycle changes. Components are replaced, positions evolve and priorities shift. Eventually, the system no longer feels as coherent as it once did. The problem is rarely a single component. More often, it is the relationship between them that has slowly moved away from the bicycle's original intention.

A System Review makes those relationships visible again. Together, we identify what already works, what quietly works against you and which changes would genuinely improve the bicycle. Sometimes that means replacing components. Sometimes it means changing nothing at all. Both outcomes are equally valuable.

The process includes one focused session followed by written recommendations, creating a clear direction for the bicycle.

System Design

Most bicycles begin with specifications. This one begins with intention.

Before a single component is selected, we define what the bicycle is meant to become. Where will it be ridden? How should it feel after six hours? What kind of rider is it being built around? Every decision that follows becomes a consequence of those answers rather than an isolated upgrade.

System Design is the process of developing a complete bicycle around one coherent idea. Frame, wheels, tyres, gearing, cockpit, position and aesthetics are considered together, allowing every decision to support the next. The objective is not to remove every compromise. It is to make sure every compromise is intentional.

The process begins with an initial session, followed by refinement and a final specification covering frame, fit and the complete build.
